We're Ready When You Are.

We’re happy to announce that the M/S Mount Washington will operate as a restaurant, beginning June 20 on the first lunch cruise of the season. Dinner cruises will begin June 27.

The M/V Doris E and U.S. Mailboat will remain closed to the public, while we continue to monitor the public health situation.

In preparing the M/S Mount Washington for operation, we’ve made some adjustments to our schedule and product offering.

  • We are suspending our 10:00 AM cruise out of Weirs Beach, as well as all departures out of other ports, until further notice.
  • We are offering one lunch cruise every day from Weirs Beach at 12:30 PM, and a dinner cruise on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. This will give us time to perform additional cleaning between cruises.
  • All tickets include meal service, limited non-alcoholic drinks, and tax.
  • Advance reservations are suggested for all cruises, and we have reduced the number of available seats by more than 50%.
  • Each party will be assigned a table for the duration of the cruise, with proper distancing between tables.
  • Buffet service has been suspended, and we’ll be offering table service on all cruises.
  • As dancing is strongly discouraged by the State of New Hampshire, ambient music will be offered on all cruises and scenic points of interest will be highlighted to passengers.

Our guiding principle for this effort is to not only meet, but exceed, state and federal guidelines for restaurant operation.

In addition to these changes, we’ve implemented new policies and procedures to make your visit with us as comfortable and safe as possible. We’ve outlined these changes in our 2020 Safety Procedures, which also contain additional ways passengers can reduce risk before, during and after their cruise.

As we receive more information and guidance through the summer, we will continue to evaluate our operation and make adjustments if possible. We’re hopeful that over time, we will be able to expand our schedule and return to more normal operation.

I missed the cruises last summer. With lots of places opening back up, I hope the M/S MW will have bands and dancing again. Those cruises were the highlight of my summer!

I.m so glad you found a way to resume some of your cruises, and I know you’re making every effort to keep everyone safe. I look forward to your schedule including the 12:30 regular cruise (no lunch) as it was before, and I and many others I.m sure also, hope this can one day be possible. That was my favorite cruise, and hopefully it will return at some point, but I certainly understand. I hope you will also offer senior discounts for the lunch cruises. Thank you for all your hard work in trying to find a way to keep the My Washington moving. Take good care.

My soon to be official fiance may be proposing to me on a dinner cruise. He’s been on a cruise before and he loves it so I can’t wait to take my first cruise with the Mt Washington crew. Looking forward to the opening on June 27 the week of our 2 year anniversary as a couple.
