Happy March!
Every few days it seems like we're getting a reminder that Spring is around the corner. But here at Mount Washington Cruises, we see sunshine, warm breezes, and unforgettable summer experiences on the horizon!
It seems like every season brings new opportunities (and sometimes new challenges!) This season, we're continuing to enhance some of our existing cruises, and delivering on some projects we've been working on for some time.
Here's a sneak peek at some of the exciting events and new features we're planning for you this season. Get ready to mark your calendars!
- Our first event of the season is not only an annual favorite, but will be reaching a milestone this year. The Mother's Day Brunch will be celebrating its 40th Anniversary! First introduced in 1985, this event quickly has remained an annual favorite, and some families have made it a multi-generational tradition. In recent years, we've been making some improvements, including an enhanced buffet and reserved seating. If you've never experienced the brunch before, or it's been a little while, it's a great time for a return!
- Following Mother's Day, we have another couple of big events. The first is the American Heroes Cruise, which will take place on Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend. This special cruise is a "love letter" to those who protect and serve our communities every day, and includes a $20 discount for police, fire, ems, military, and veterans. Last year we included a new group for the first time – teachers!
- After that, we have our Independence Day Dinner Cruise. This patriotic cruise includes dinner, live entertainment on all three decks, and a cruise around the lake to look at fireworks (weahter permitting). Sales are higher than usual at this point in the year, so book early to reserve your spot!
- This year, we’ll be bringing one of our most popular features to our Sunday Brunch Cruises – reserved seating! Now when booking tickets online, you’ll select your table in advance, which will reduce the stress of finding seats once on board.
- More Lobster! We’ll also be hosting an additional lobster cruise each season. This summer, we’ll be offering the Sunset Lobster Bake on July 11 and August 29.
- New and Returning Family Events: Following the launch of the Royal Fairytale Voyage last year, the cruise will return again this year with a few updates and surprises. Also, keep an eye out for a new family cruise coming this summer with a whole new theme – we’ll be announcing it soon!
- Live theatre is coming! Over the past few years we’ve been eager to bring theatre-style experiences to the Mount, and in 2025 it will finally happen! The first announced experience is “Mutiny on the Mount”, coming this October. The musical is written by Bob Montana (“Archie”) and produced by the Winnipesaukee Playhouse in partnership with the Meredith Historical Society. But, that’s not all! A “mysterious” new theatre project is also in the works, and will be announced soon!
That's all – for now! There are some additional surprises and enhancements in store, and we can't wait to share this season with you. We'll be continuing to release information in the coming weeks, so keep an eye on your inbox and our social media pages.
In the meantime, let us know what you're most excited about! We love hearing from you.
Warmly,
Jared Maraio
